We began in 1929, and we are a reformed church affiliated with the EFCC (Evangelical Fellowship of Congregational Churches).

We believe the church has one mission to the world: to make disciples of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28.19).

Simon Wakeling

Church Minister

Simon Wakeling has spent most of his life in the London boroughs of Enfield and Barking and Dagenham. He was converted through friendship evangelism and the prayers of relatives in Canada and the USA. He believes the Bible’s teaching is well expressed in the great reformed confessions of faith, in particular the Westminster standards, the Savoy Declaration, and the Three Forms of Unity (the Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, and the Canons of Dort).

Ray Stokes

Church Evangelist

Ray Stokes is the church evangelist. He is married to Jackie, and he has a son and three grandchildren. Ray has spent his whole life in Barking and Dagenham. He and Jackie were converted through door to door evangelism, and their son Robbie was converted later. Not surprisingly Ray is keen on door to door evangelism, and is enthusiastic about evangelism generally.
